... and the snow is falling softly...

I'm at work and it's been snowing since I got here this morning. Or kind of snowing. It looks like flakes falling from the sky but one soon realizes that it is merely slush-ing. We are now getting a slight build-up of slush on the ground. Sigh, not even a brief moment of snow on the ground for me. Maybe when I make it back to Victoria this evening there will be enough for me to make a snowball. The water is beautiful right now though - deep blue-green and flat calm. There's even a layer of slush appearing on the surface of the water. It's kinda weird.
